Unrecorded form drafts save after a short pause; wait for the draft-saved message. They are never recorded as observations automatically.
FROM CLOSET ROUND TO PUT-AWAY
Know what’s low.
Finish the restock.
Walk shelves in order. Review purchase packs by supplier.
Keep a clear record of what arrived and what still needs a home.
not real-time stock.
Suggestions use the last count, later recorded put-away, and open commitments. Restocked quantities are not consumption or usage figures.
Start with the sample or add a location. Export backup copies regularly.
OBSERVE
Your shelf round
A count replaces the previous observation. “Low” carries no invented quantity; “empty” records zero. Counts older than seven days or dated in the future are flagged for review.
REVIEW BEFORE YOU BUY
Purchase packs, grouped by supplier
Suggestions trigger when the last count plus later put-away is at or below min. They round up to whole purchase packs toward max, subtracting outstanding orders and received stock awaiting put-away. Pack rounding can exceed max.
Recording does not purchase or send anything. Stale counts and signal-only items require an explicit manual pack entry. Zero packs are excluded.

Receiving & put-away
Enter received and put-away quantities in the counting unit, not purchase packs. Partial delivery keeps the balance outstanding. Put-away credits later planning; it does not alter the recorded shelf count or imply consumption.

Observation & action history
Local action order and browser/user timestamps are records, not independently verified evidence. Keep backups before reaching the 3,000-action limit. No consumption report is inferred. Corrections append a reason and replacement value; original actions remain visible. Correct put-away before reducing a receipt below it. Order pack/identity changes require cancelling the unreceived balance and recording a new manual order.
